Artist Statement:
Hi, I’m Beth — a watercolor artist with a love for wild places, soft edges, and stories that spill off the page. My paintings are loose and free, with just enough detail to invite the viewer to slow down and breathe. I hope each piece serves as a memento—something that holds a feeling, whether it's the warmth of a sunset or the hush of the forest—letting you carry that beauty long after the moment has passed.
Believe it or not, I wasn’t always wielding a paintbrush. I am an army veteran, and I used to engineer things (on purpose!). My path has been winding—a blend of order and upheaval, shaped by grit, heart, and a deep love for the quiet and richness that follow the storm (literally).
Since becoming an artist, the world has bloomed in ways I never expected—shadows hum with violet, tree bark whispers in sienna, and even silence wears a shimmer. I see color differently now—not just as pigment, but as something that breathes and listens. Through my art, I hope to offer a glimpse of that magic to others, to share the quiet beauty I find tucked between raindrops and resting in dappled light.
